PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES
October 20, 2009
7:30 p.m.
South Windsor Council Chambers
PURPOSE: To receive citizen input on a proposed Ordinance, an “Ordinance Establishing an Anti-Idling Ordinance in the Town of South Windsor
Mayor Prague called the Public Hearing to order at 7:30 p.m.; and requested that the Clerk of the Council read the call of the meeting (a copy of which is attached hereto). There were approximately ten (10) people present in the audience.
Mayor Prague asked if there was anyone from the public that would like to speak, there was none.
As is the custom, the Mayor asked for a show of hands for a straw vote on the proposal. The results were as follows:
Those in favor of the Town Council establishing an Anti-Idling Ordinance in the Town of South Windsor: - 1
Those in opposition of the Town Council establishing an Anti-Idling Ordinance in the Town of South Windsor: - 0
The public hearing was closed at 7:34 p.m.
